Undealt with discomforts...

i think this quote is at least 95% true ;-)  --then again, he does say 'most' of our problems... -and 'resolving to look them in the face and do something about them...'  i want to look my problems in the face and have them magically vanish 'without' having to do anything about them!  ;-)

my 'problems' of yesterday that had gotten me in such a funk, dealt with money and my fear of dealing with them.  here's a cool little irony.  i didn't face them, so they blew up in my face.  i am so funny.  :-)   seriously, thank you G-d for the grace to laugh at myself.  

today, i 'resolved' to look at these 'undealt with discomforts' in the face.  too often, this is where i stop.  i also had to 'do something' about them.  i am happy to report i dealt with one.  it amounted to a 4 minute telephone call.  problem solved.  (unbelievable how i can spend months worrying about something that took all of 4 minutes to solve.)

i know it sounds corny, but i did actually pray for strength.  looked up a number.  dialed the phone.  spoke to a lovely woman.  got a little lucky (might have been a G-d thing -Thank you G-d)  -problem solved. 

here's what happened:  i was humiliated yesterday and hated it.  i resolved to look it in the face and do something about it.  a little prayer.  4 minutes of action.  done.  peace.  -- i am such a slow learner.
