Finding fault in others reveals something in me...
When our conscience bothers us, whether we admit it or not, we often try to justify it by correcting others, or by finding fault with them. - Fulton J. Sheen; (from the book Way to Inner Peace, pp. 54)
how's this for irony? i found myself today correcting someone -for correcting someone!
like most everything, there's good and bad. there's good correction as well as bad correction.
i've noticed when i correct myself... -resulting in a clear conscience, i don't have to find fault or correct others. i dont like correcting myself, but, Ed taught me that for most important things in life, if i do what i dont want to do, i can get what i really want.
have you noticed that when our conscience is clear, it is infinitely easier to be at peace with ourselves and others? :-)
